Peace, Love and Joy

Oh Skip to my Lou it's Christmas. I had the opportunity to go to Scrapfest in Oshawa this weekend. I've loaded up on lots of crafty goodies that I will put to good use in the next coming months.

The first purchase that I had to use was Annette, a great stamp by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. To make this even more fun, they have a great challenge going on over on their blog to make a Christmas Card using non-traditional colours.

I just happened to have these great papers by Zoe Pearn, they had been released by MME but are also available in digital format over at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I coloured Annette with my Copics in colours that would match the papers and then re sized the papers using Photoshop to fit my card and I love the end result. I have kept the embellishments to the minimum using a simple white poinsettia that I have lightly inked around the edges and layered with some snowflakes and leaves that I have punched from cardstock.

I have had so much fun with Annette that I just may find myself having to get a few more of these stamps. I hope that you will pop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie blog, they have the new October stamps set to be released tomorrow, I can't wait to see the blog hop that their design team has in store for us.

I will also be entering this card into the following challenges.
