It's Beginning to Look Like a Wild Christmas!

Good Evening, I am here tonight to tell you all about the current ABC Christmas Challenge that started this morning. Our theme this time around is
 W for Wild Thing
This can be any wild animals cats, bears, reindeer
Or even a wild hair do! haha!

For my card I have used this sweet image from LOTV. After all, what's more wild than a cute little bear. The image is quite large and fills up most of the card so all that I really needed to do was colour it up to match some festive Christmas papers and give it a nice frame. A simple flower finishes it all off.

Our very own Lacey is our AWESOME Sponsor for this challenge with her store
Stamp and Create.com
Sadly Stamp and Create is Closing.
The entire store is marked down 40%-60%

But Lacey is generously offering  3 Wags 'n Whiskers Digital Stamps to one of our lucky participants.

I hope that you will be joining in on the fun with your own gorgeous Christmas creations. Be sure to stop by the blog for some more wonderful DT inspiration.

T is for Transportation

Good Evening! Carissa here, and I am running late again but I want to tell you all about the new challenge that started yesterday over on the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog.

We have a fun theme for you

T is for Transport
Lets see what moves you.

For my card I selected this sweet little James Bear from LOTV that I had never inked up before. This little cutie has been coloured up to match a card base that I had previously put together from scraps left over from some other creations while trying to clean up my desk.  Nothing more was needed other than a simple sentiment to finish it all off.

That's what I call easy!

Off the Edge

Good Evening, I am running a little behind with my card today.

Over on the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog we have kicked of a new challenge.
The theme this time around is.

O - Off the edge

For my card I have selected one of my favorite snowflakes from Hero Arts and chosen to run it off the edges of the card. The image was stamped with Distress Inks and embossed with holographic embossing powder to give it a ton of holiday sparkle.

Because the image looked a little out of place on its own, I have hand drawn a border around the edge using Distress Markers to ground it. A simple sentiment and a few gems finished it all off.

I hope that you will join us with your own wonderful creations.

N for Not A Card

Good Morning, I hope that you are all having a wonderful summer. It is hard to believe that we are already half way through the year, Christmas will be here before you know it.

Over on the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog we have a new challenge starting today.
This time around our theme is

N for Not a Card

I opted to make a little tag for this challenge. I have stamped and embossed the snowflake background before inking with Distress inks. Then I layered on some torn paper snowbanks and the Tim Holts diecut reindeer which was embellished with some tinsel and a little gem.
A simple post card transfer and some ribbon with a little charm finish it all off.

I hope that you will join in on the fun, we have been generously sponsored by Wendy at
All Dressed Up.
Winner will receive two free digis of their choice
from Wendy’s Etsy shop

Good Morning, I am hear to tell you about the new theme that we have  over on the

This time our challenge is:
H for Happy Holiday/Christmas!

(Use a sentiment with the word Happy)

I decided to have a go at a card with a somewhat vintage feel to it.  This is one of the Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprints that he introduced last year and I have coloured it up using Distress inks. Just a touch of platinum stickles around the edge and a few little copper gears finish it off.

The sponsor for the H challenge is our very own Lacey
and her store Stamp and Create

F for Frosty

Good evening, I am running a little late today as the internet was not working properly last night so I could not schedule a post in advance.

Today over on the ABC Christmas Challenge we have a new theme that started today.

F for Frosty

I always think that Icy/Frosty themes are a perfect excuse to get inky and just play.  I've pulled out some of my favorite snowy themed stamps and I've done just that.

The card base is one that I picked up at a local stamp shop.  I've stamped the main background with a large stamp from Hero Arts before embossing and inking with Distress inks. The larger snowflake is also Hero Arts and it has been trimmed with a touch of stickles and a fancy gem from my stash to add a bit of icy sparkle.

We have been generously sponsored by
Prize - a $10.00 Gift Certificate for Sweet Stamp Store

Snow Hearts for You!

Hi All! Today marks the start of a new Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge and this time our theme is HeartsTilda has been out playing in the snow that Mother Nature saw fit to deliver us the other day and she has come up with a Snowheart to share with you.

I have played around with my Distress Ink pens and a water brush, a medium that I have not used often. After a couple of attempts I have even managed to create something that  I felt comfortable putting on a card.

Once my image dried, I added some Stickles, Perfect Pearls and Liquid Applique to add some dimensional detail. The papers are some oldies but some goodies that I found in my stash. I now have a card that is ready to pop in the mail.

I hope that you will join us for the challenge, Lacey is kindly offering one lucky participant a chance to win 1 free Magnolia Stamp of their choice. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created to inspire you.
