Hearts full of Love

Good morning, I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.


I had been wanting a reason to use this adorable image from the Paper Shelter and the current challenge of hearts over on the Basic Grey Challenge blog proved to be just that reason. After colouring the image with my Copics, I used my Nesties to cut it out and using the sketch from Friday Sketchers, I went to work on my card. I have chosen to omit the circle behind the image as I would have needed a bigger card to fit it all in.
All of the paper is from Basic Grey, a wonderful collection that was just perfect for Valentine's Day. I built a little embellishment for my card using a chipboard heart painted in distress crackle paint and brushed with distress inks, several Prima flowers and some shiny heart stickers from the dollar store.
