Wow, it is good to be back (silly Blogger and its tricks). Today has been a wet and rainy day perfect for crafting. I have taken the opportunity to work on a card that I want to enter into a few challenges.
I coloured Tilda with Copics a few weeks ago. I struggle with blues and greens but I like the result of this one enough to put it on a card, although I do vow to keep practicing. I cut out her feet so that they dangled over the edge and stamped a little frame of flourishes around the edge of the image.
The layout for my card is based on the sketch for this week's Spoonful of Sugar Challenge:
I have used many of my favorite items for this card. Basic grey papers in blues and greens from the Hello Luscious and Marjolaine collections. A lacy doily for the circle element of the card. Gorgeous flowers from Prima and Wild orchid and a touch of bling in the form of the butterfly and swirls.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Fabulous Carissa, I can never get the leg thing right, and most times cut the legs off..lol..
I love the colouring and flowers and such a beautiful butterfly.
I just love this!
The tilda is so cute and love your wee flower posy!
Thanks for playing along with Sarah Hurley Challenges
